Data protection / Sheffield / UK GDPR
Your data belongs to you. This page sets out what Blackwell's Builds collects, why we need it, where it is kept, and how you can control it.
01 / Start here
Blackwell's Builds is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and during our work with you. Our address is High Lane, Sheffield, S12 3XH.
We build and improve gaming PCs and laptops, source components, manage thermals, install cooling systems, and carry out upgrades. We only ask for information that helps us answer your enquiry, price the work, take payment, deliver equipment, or keep proper business records.
This policy is written for a UK GDPR context. It should be checked by a qualified legal adviser before publication and whenever our services, suppliers, or website tools change.

03 / Control room
Keep what is needed. Remove what is not.
Records are held on encrypted local devices and secure cloud backup services located in the UK or European Economic Area where available.
Enquiry information is normally kept for 12 months after our last contact. Customer and invoice records are kept for six years where tax rules require it.
We share only what is needed with payment processors, delivery couriers, hosting providers, and professional advisers.
Suppliers may process information on our instructions. They must keep it secure and use it only for the agreed service. We do not share customer information with third parties for their own marketing.
We aim to keep processing within the UK or EEA. If a supplier ever requires a transfer outside those areas, appropriate UK GDPR safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual protections, will be put in place before the transfer.
04 / Your controls
